"After great thought and many interviews we decided to use this DJ, Ed Petty, for our daughter's wedding. It was arguably one of the best decisions we made for the entire event. He was extremely knowledgeable and competent in every area that we spoke to him about, from all genre of music to timing and venue. The wedding was indoors with an outdoor reception. This appeared to be of no consequence for him as he caused every detail to flow seamlessly into the next. Not to mention that he had an amazing ability to read the guests and play, as well as interact, accordingly. He truly made her wedding absolutely outstanding. Ed's ability to read the crowd & play the right music at the right time for all of the different age groups was GREAT. He was wonderful with the introductions, announcing different things that were taking place, like the toasts, cake cutting etc…Ed's flexibility was very much appreciated by all. My mother has received so many thank you notes from our guests & the majority of the notes mentioned Ed & the excellent mix of music & his unobtrusive demeanor which made our reception very memorable for everyone. We would highly recommend Ed for any event & I can guarantee that we will be using him for years to come. Ed will be the only entertainment professional that we will use at our soirees!"

"Ed did a really great job as the DJ at our wedding. I think it is really important to have someone with a great voice and energy to set the mood for your wedding, and Ed was AMAZING :) He played the music for our ceremony, and then also got the party started for the reception. He really did make sure that everything was perfect: keeping everyone organized before we were announced, keeping the party on the timeline, and making sure that no songs played that were not on the list. I am a very easy going person, but I still did appreciate that he would come to me before he played any requests to make sure that I did not despise the song. He had a great knack of finding me where ever I was in the hotel to let me know that certain things were about to happen, such as the bridal toss or the last dance. During the bridal toss, he not only went running around to find the bouquet for me, but he made sure to stall the audience with songs until all of my ladies made it back up to the party to catch the bouquet. He kept us dancing ALL NIGHT, and everyone there had a GREAT time. He even had all four sets of grandparents out on the floor bustin' a move! We really did have an awesome wedding, and I would definitely recommend Ed to any bride looking for a great DJ."
